Brief Description:  Added canopy seal, engine warmer, APRS, XM ant.

In some places I have a slight gap between the canopy and canopy bow. I found a "V" strip window seal at the hardware store. One side has an adhesive backing. I cut several slits on the non-adhesive side and applied the seal to the canopy bow with the open side of the "V" facing forward. The strip folds flat where there is not gap and opens to fill the gap where neded. Unlike some seal solutions, this does not interfere with the canopy closure due to seal compression.

With colder weather coming on, built a 60 watt engine compartment warmer with a line voltage thermostat control. With a movers blanket drapped over the cowling, the heater warms the engine area to 10-15f above ambient. With no cabin heat I don't expect to go flying when temperatures are below 30f. With the engine at 40-45f, starting is not a problem.

Modified the vertical stabilier tip to be secured with Tinnerman nuts and screws. Enlarged the 1/4" forming guide hole in the vertical stabilizer ribs to 1". Installed a plastic sleeve through the ribs to the base of the stabilizer. Added a small steel plate to the top rib for an APRS gps and XM radio antenna. Fed the antenna leads down the plastic sleeve. The APRS transmiter is mounted on the F19-15 sheer web. The low profile APRS antenna is mounted on the fuselage below the shear web. The white plastic tube in image 3 contains power leads for a tail light option. Total modification weight was ~18 oz. CG shift was about 1/4" aft, still well within in the max aft limits.
